He is a visionary, brings bigger picture thinking to the Nation and understands the importance of securing Lands & Resources as a major vehicle of economic development and self-sufficiency for First Nation communities. He brings over 20 years of knowledge and experience working with Government, Industry and the First Nation community at a National level. “I am excited to lead NCN into a new chapter of Sustainability and Economic Reconciliation. I foresee the need for modern economic initiatives but it needs to be balanced with our culture and respect for the Land. I look forward to exploring business ideas such as a major employer locally for our youth, they’re the future. We must also capitalize on land development opportunities in the Thompson Market, as well as assert our place in Manitoba’s overall Economy. We have suffered in silence long enough and its our time to diversify, grow & become a major economic player in the North.”
