The NIHB Manitoba Regional Office has been working with our partners at MKO, SERDC and FARHA to further develop our after-hours services.
Please be aware that you can continue to call the existing NIHB benefit contact number at 1-877-983-0911 for after-hours assistance, but upon selecting the option for Medical Transportation you will be directed towards new menu options that will allow calls to be appropriately triaged.
The menu has been separated into 4 queues:
- Menu option 1: Designated for residents of the 11 KTC communities requesting assistance throughout Manitoba.
- Menu option 2: For all clients residing in a Four Arrows community (Garden Hill, St. Theresa Point, Wasagamack and Red Sucker Lake) requesting assistance throughout Manitoba.
- Menu option 3: For all clients that do not reside in a KTC or FARHA community and are looking for assistance in the north (i.e., Thompson, The Pas, Flin Flon).
- Menu option 4: For all clients that do not reside in a KTC or FARHA community and looking for assistance in and around Winnipeg or the south.
