NOTICE OF OPERATING PLAN

FORECAST – FOOTPRINT LAKE

On August 1, 2023 the level of Footprint Lake is forecasted to be 797.3 feet. The level of the lake is expected to fall 3 feet 7 inches to elevation 793.8 feet by the end of August.

During the month of September the level of the lake is expected to rise 1 foot 3 inches to elevation 795.0 feet by the third week of the month and then fall 8 inches to elevation 794.3 feet by the end of the month.

FORECAST – NOTIGI OUTFLOWS

On August 1, 2023 the outflow from Notigi C.S. is forecasted to be 28,900 cubic feet per second (cfs). The outflow is expected to gradually decrease to 21,400 cfs by the fifth week of the month, and then increase to 22,300 cfs by the end of August.

During the month of September the outflow is expected to gradually increase to 25,300 cfs by the third week of the month, and then gradually decrease to 22,800 cfs by the end of the month.

 


 

FORECAST – ODEI RIVER FLOW

On August 1, 2023 the Odei River flow is forecasted to be 1,600 cubic feet per second (cfs). The flow is expected to gradually decrease to 1,300 cfs by the second week of the month, gradually increase to 1,500 cfs by the end of August.

During the month of September the flow is expected to gradually decrease to 1,400 cfs by the end of the month.

 


 

FORECAST – SOUTHERN INDIAN LAKE INFLOWS

On August 1, 2023 the Southern Indian Lake inflow is forecast to be 27,100 cubic feet per second (cfs). The lake inflow is expected to gradually rise to 27,700 cfs by the end of August.

During the month of September the inflow is expected to gradaully rise to 28,700 cfs by the end of September.
