Resolutions serve as a fundamental mechanism through which First Nations convey precise mandates and guidance to the Assembly of Manitoba Chiefs (AMC). This process plays a crucial role in facilitating and solidifying consensus on important policy issues. These resolutions are deliberated upon during the Annual General Assembly, where their significance is thoroughly acknowledged.

In October 2023, at the AMC General Assembly, the resolutions were agreed upon with the theme ‘Shaping Strategies for Our Future Generations.’
