Please note that effective immediately NO FAST FOODS (pizza, chicken, McDonald’s etc.) delivered from Thompson or elsewhere will not be allowed through the check-stop.
The need to search such foods at the check-stop raises significant health and safety concerns for our employees as well as the persons who intend to consume such food. We want to avoid people becoming sick with e-coli or other illnesses.
Please ensure that you notify your friends and family who may be delivering groceries, medications and other supplies to the check-stop that fast foods are prohibited and will be confiscated and disposed of in a safe manner.
