Attention NCN Citizens:

Recent shortages of physicians and nurses at the NCN Nursing Station have limited health services to emergencies only. NCN Citizens are reminded QDoc Virtual Health Services platform is an option for access to non-emergency supports.

QDocs is a service available to all Manitobans. It connects patients to a doctor to help with their specific health needs. It is safe and ensures that PHIA/HIPAA is secure. QDoc offers a wide range of services including access to a doctor by phone or virtual (internet) platform. Doctors can prescribe non-controlled medications, order lab tests, and provide referrals to clinics – all in the comfort of the patient’s home.

To use the Q-Doc Virtual Health Service, click in to https://qdoc.ca or call
1-833-736-2362, set up an account profile and speak to a qualified doctor.

NCN leadership and our Health team encourage Citizens to use this service for non-urgent care while we work with FNIHB to find more nurses for NCN. All emergencies must be called in to the Nursing Station and if it is urgent care, please call the local ambulance at 204-484-2911.

Your healthcare and safety are our top priority! We appreciate your patience and understanding while we work to resolve the staffing shortages.
