NCN LET’S GET VACCINATED
This is an important reminder that the COVID-19 vaccination clinics will continue daily starting Monday, March 29th to Thursday, April 1st from 10:00 am to 6:00 pm.
A surge team including personnel from the Medical Unit of the Canadian Armed Forces will be here to assist our NCN Health Team so there should not be a wait to get in.
Chief and Council and the NCN Health team encourage everyone 18 years & older to get vaccinated as early as possible. It takes at least 2 weeks before the vaccine begins to provide protection. Cross Lake gave out 2400 doses last week.
Our goal is to immunize 75% of all those who are eligible. Please try to complete the vaccine consent form in advance as this will help prevent long wait times.
If you are not feeling well, please stay home. Arrangements can be made for you to get vaccinated once your symptoms have resolved. Home visits are being planned for those people who are unable to get to the Multi-Plex due to mobility issues.
Come roll up your sleeve and get vaccinated. The COVID-19 vaccine will not only protect us as individuals but also our loved ones, especially our children.
Everyone, including those people vaccinated last week, will be eligible to win some really nice prizes.
