The 7,800 square foot Skate Park began construction Tuesday June 20, 2023 in NCN!
This project will take approximately 4 to 5 weeks to complete and will be an on going construction site during this time, so please take caution and watch out for large trucks and heavy machinery in this area.
The Skate Park is just part of the transformation of the Ron Wood Recreational Park which will also include Baseball Diamonds, Beach Volleyball Courts and Horseshoe Pits for the community.
Along with the Norman Linklater Memorial Multiplex and the Desmond Spence Memorial Baseball Field, this area will be a bustling hub for sports and recreation in NCN – with the Gilbert McDonald Arena and Youth Centre right across the street.
