With respect to the current guidelines on treaty payments in 2020 – presently all large public gatherings (including treaty payment events) have been paused until Indigenous Services Canada (ISC) receive the “all clear” from public health authorities.

At this time, ISC does not know when these events will be able to proceed again, however recommend communities keep an eye on social media and also the ISC website for updates, the info can be found below.

Alternatively, citizens can complete the attached form and send in a request for their treaty money via cheque to be mailed to them. A copy of one of the following identication is needed when sending in your application: Treaty Card, Driver License, Birth Certificate, or Manitoba Health Card.
