NNCEA is seeking 5 “Bus Ride” assistants to ride our buses in the morning and afternoon as an added means of supervision.

This will be paid as an honorarium and riders will not be considered employees of NNCEA. Below are the roles and responsibilities of the riders:

Roles and Responsibilities:

Morning Run

• Arrive at bus garage at 7:45AM
• Ride on designated bus through community until 9:00am
• Assist bus drivers with ensuring students are safe on bus.
• Assist bus drivers with assigning seats on bus.
• Greet students arriving on bus
• Assist students with getting off the bus

Afternoon Run

• Arrive at garage at 3:15pm
• Ride on designated bus through community until 4:25pm
• Assist bus drivers with ensuring students are safe on bus.
• Assist bus drivers with assigning seats on bus.
• Greet students arriving on bus.
• Assist students with getting off the bus.

Honorarium amount:
$30 per run (or $60 for both runs)

Criteria:

• Be over the age of 20 years old
• Have a criminal record/child abuse registry check
• Sign a waiver to ride the bus

Any interested candidate must complete a Criminal Record Check/Child Abuse Registry Check. NNCEA will assist with completion of these checks.
