Job Description:
The Summer Showdown Facilitator (SSF) is responsible for the safe and efficient implementation of specific events during our summer programming. The SSF will be responsible for one event each day (IE. Ball Hockey or Soccer or Basketball etc.) and will follow the provided schedule to implement this event. The SSF will need to ensure the program runs smoothly and the participants follow the applicable rules. The SSF will take direction from the Summer Showdown Coordinator. The SSF will work with 2 others to implement each program.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Implement and officiate the assigned sport/program
- Ensure the safety of all participants
- Ensure the safety and security of the facility
- Ensure the cleanliness of the facility
- Respond to any incidents and report incidents to SSC
- Review and enforce rules of the sport to each participant
- Intervene with any conflicts and provide resolution
- Provide accurate scores to SSC
- Assist other SSF and SSC as needed
- Any other tasks as assigned by SSC or stakeholders
Hours of Work:
4:00pm to 9:00pm Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday
Start and End Dates:
- July 6, 2023 to August 16, 2023
Rate of Pay:
- $17 an hour
