SEALED TENDERS, marked “Used Kitchen Tender” will be received until 11:00 a.m. CST on Tuesday, December 12, 2023 at the Nisichwayasihk Cree Nation (NCN) Government Office.

  • The kitchen trailers and equipment can be viewed on our website at com.
  • The kitchen trailers and equipment are currently located at the Wuskwatim Hydroelectric Dam site – 35 kilometers west of Thompson on Hwy #391 and 50 kms south on ‘private’ Wuskwatim Road. This is a restricted area – there is no public access.
  • Bidders interested in an on-site visit to view the kitchen trailers and equipment prior to the closing date must contact Ms. Joyce Yetman, Co-CEO, 204-484-2332.
  • Kitchen trailers and equipment will only be sold as a “whole” unit, and on an “as is, where is, ASAP” basis.
  • Disassembly of kitchen structure for transport is required and must be completed 2 months following the acceptance of full payment from the successful bidder.
  • Partial tenders will not be considered.
  • Tender opening will follow immediately after tender closing at the NCN Government Office in Nelson House, Manitoba.
  • Any revisions, amendments or other changes to the original submission made by email, facsimile or in-person to the NCN Government Office will not be considered.
  • The highest or any tender may not necessarily be accepted.
  • NCN reserves the right to refuse or reject any or all tenders.
  • Once a tender is selected by the NCN Tender Selection Committee and a contract of sale is signed, the other bidders will be notified of the tender results.
  • Access to the site will be authorized jointly by NCN and Manitoba Hydro.

  • 6 – ATCO trailers (kitchen and dining), width 13’, length ranging from 52’ to 72’. All units were constructed, and CSA approved in 2008 and include the following:

  • Laundry washer and dryer
  • Washrooms
  • 2 – 13’ x 13’ attached sheds for walk-in cooler and freezer.
  • 1 – 12’ x 12’ walk-in cooler.
  • 1 – 12’ x 12’ walk-in freezer.
  • Various wooden stairs, landings, loading docks and 11’ x 12’ screened deck.
