ANNOUNCEMENT
To help combat the Distemper outbreak that we are still experiencing in NCN, as of last night, the NCN Animal Control Department along with the Winnipeg Humane Society, has been able to secure a veterinarian to come to NCN to administer the Rabies, Parvo and Distemper vaccines as well as de-wormer.
The veterinarian will perform an exam and administer the vaccinations and de-wormer, the cost will be covered for these, if the animal has any medical conditions, or ANYTHING beyond this, will be at the expense of the pet owner.
PLEASE NOTE: This IS NOT a Spay & Neuter Clinic, vaccinations only.
When: Monday, January 15th, 2024
Time: 10:00 AM – 4:00 PM
Where: Administration Building, Incorporated Community of Nelson House, (Metis Community).
*** To prevent the risk of cross contamination of potentially ill pets with healthy ones, all pets must be on a leash or in a travel crate and must be kept a safe distance of Five (5) feet away from other animals at all times. This is for the safety of your pet(s) and yourself.
*Appointments will be scheduled 10 minutes apart, be on time for your appointment.
