Effective immediately, First Nations Safety Officers (FNSO) will be available to provide transportation to and from the nursing station if an ambulance is not needed.

This service will be available between the hours of 1:00am and 9:00am.

Additionally, on Saturdays and Sundays, a Handi-Van will be provided for wheelchair-bound patients who need to visit the nursing station when an ambulance is not available or needed. (Guard will start the Handi-Van for Patrol to pick up if needed.)

This arrangement will remain in place until a permanent solution is implemented.
