Request for Catering Proposal for 250 – 350 People

Nisichawayasihk is seeking proposals for the BBQ to be held in Thompson on June 26, 2025, from 6:00 pm – 9:00 pm. Venue to be determined at a later date. It is MANDATORY to have Food Handlers Certification and must be submitted with proposal. Caterer to provide a menu for the BBQ and the cost to accommodate 250-300 people. All equipment and utensils must be fully sanitized prior to and during serving of the food. All salads to be kept cold. Hairnets, aprons, and gloves are to be worn at all times.

 

CATERER RESPONSIBILITY:

  • Responsible to purchase any supplies and must stay within an approved budget.
  • Transportation of food is the responsibility of the successful bidder.
  • To provide a menu including desserts for 250-300 people.
  • Responsible for serving of the food.
  • Supply all required condiments (dinner/dessert plates, bowls, forks, knives, spoons, napkins, water, variety of beverages including diet drinks, tea, coffee, sugar, creamer.
  • Provide all utensils for serving food, tin foil, take out containers.
  • All shopping and preparation of BBQ set up.
  • Responsible for cleaning and prepping.
  • Responsible for paying helpers.
  • Clean up and empty garbage containers of the buffet area. Ensure it is left clean after the BBQ.
  • Ensure there is enough food for the number of people listed.
  • Provide copy of FOOD HANDLERS CERTICATE

BBQ MAIN COURSE/ DESSERT:     PLEASE INCLUDE WITH PROPOSAL

PAYMENT: Half Payment (1/2) will be issued at the start of engagement and upon satisfactory completion of the contract, the remaining payment will be issued one day after the function.

 

Please ensure that your proposal contains the following,

  1. Contact Information including phone number!
  2. Full BBQ Menu including desserts.
  3. Total Cost of Proposal

 

The deadline for submission of proposals is Wednesday, June 18, 2025, at 12:00p.m.

Successful applicant will be notified by 3:00 p.m. June 18, 2025.
