Request for Catering Proposal for 150 People for JUNE 18, 2026

Nisichawayasihk Cree Nation is seeking proposals for the Centre for Indigenous Environmental Resources (CIER) meeting to be held at the Norman Linklater Memorial Multi Plex in NCN on June 18, 2026 from 10-3pm. It is MANDATORY to have Food Handlers Certification and must be submitted with proposal. Caterer to provide a menu for the CIER meeting and the cost to accommodate 150 people. All equipment and utensils must be fully sanitized prior to and during serving of the food. All salads to be kept cold. Hair nets, aprons and gloves to be worn at all times.

CATERER RESPONSIBILITY:

ü To provide menu including light lunch, snacks and beverages for 150 people

ü Supply all required condiments (lunch/snacks, bowls, forks, knives, spoons, napkins, water, variety of beverages including diet drinks, tea, coffee, sugar, creamer)

ü Provide all utensils for serving food, tin foil, take out containers.

ü All shopping and preparation of buffet set up.

ü Clean up and empty garbage containers of the buffet area. Ensure it is left clean after the meeting.

ü Ensure there is enough food for the number of people listed.

ü Provide copy of FOOD HANDLERS CERTICATE

ü Caterer must provide a FULL MENU for dinner, snacks and beverages.

ü MUST provide own transportation

MAIN COURSE EXPECTATIONS:

Please be sure to include options for sensitivity, vegetarian, gluten free traditional meals. Due to ALLERGIES please be sure to LABEL.

Caterer will be responsible to provide a FULL MENU for lunch, snacks and beverages.

SNACKS EXPECTATIONS:

Assorted SNACKS and BEVERAGES to be provided throughout the meeting.

Interested applicants are encouraged to submit a hard copy of proposal in a sealed envelope, or via email.

1. Contact Information including phone number

2. Total Cost of Proposal

3. Menu of light lunch, snacks and beverages throughout

4. Copy of Food Handlers Certificate
