PUBLIC NOTICE TO NCN CITIZENS:
RECOUNT OF THE COUNCILLOR BALLOTS

To all NCN Citizens, we are in receipt of a written request from a candidate in the Chief & Council Elections for a recount of the “Councillor” ballots.
As per subsection 21 (1) – Application for A Recount it states that;
Within Seven (7) days after the election any candidate may request a recount by submitting such request to the electoral officer, in which case the electoral officer shall give all candidates and voters three (3) days’ notice that a recount has been requested, following which the electoral officer shall immediately convene a meeting of the candidates and the deputy officer to recount the ballots.
The Recount of the Councillor Ballots will take place on Saturday, September 3, 2022 at 10:00 am at the Norman Linklater Multiplex.
