It has come to the attention of NCN Chief & Council and Nelson House RCMP that ATV’s are being driven carelessly, without adult supervision and out all hours of the night.
The Manitoba Off-Road Vehicles Act states:
- It is illegal for a person under the age of 14 years to operate an off-road vehicle without being in clear view of a parent or authorized adult
- It is illegal to operate an off-road vehicle carelessly
- Must wear a helmet when on an off-road vehicle
Failure to comply with the Manitoba Off-Road Vehicles Act could result in a fine ranging from $113.00 to $672.00
