NEWS RELEASE

For Immediate Release

NELSON HOUSE, MANITOBA – May 4, 2018 – On behalf of the grieving families and our entire community, we would like to thank everyone for their support over this past week. In addition to donations through the Go Fund Me page, there have also been other donations of food and money brought to the NCN Government offices. The outpouring of support from people near and far has been very much appreciated.
Kethan, Mattheo and Terrance will begin their journey home to Nelson House tomorrow after which the wake services will be held on Saturday and Sunday followed by a community funeral on Monday.
We ask that anyone who still wishes to donate to the Go Fund Me page – set up to support the families and community and to build safe bike trails and better lighting near where the boys lost their lives – to please do so by Wednesday May 9th (two days after the funeral) as the Go Fund Me Page will then be taken down.
Ekosani (thank you)!
