Position: School Bus Driver
Compensation: CA$19.47 – CA$27.70 per hour
About the Role:
We are looking for dependable and safety-conscious individuals to ensure the secure and timely transportation of students to and from school, as well as for field trips and extracurricular activities.
Key Responsibilities:
• Safely operate a school bus along assigned routes, in compliance with Manitoba traffic laws and school transportation regulations.
• Conduct daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections to confirm the bus is in safe working condition.
• Ensure student safety and maintain appropriate conduct on the bus.
• Report mechanical issues, delays, incidents, or behavior concerns to the Transportation Supervisor.
• Keep the bus clean and ensure all safety equipment (emergency exits, first aid kit, fire extinguisher) is functional.
• Provide assistance to students with special needs or mobility challenges as required.
• Complete all necessary documentation (mileage logs, incident reports, fuel reports, etc.).
• Participate in mandatory training sessions and professional development programs.
