Please be considerate of others! When spread evenly, the funding would be roughly $27 per Off-reserve citizen. Instead of spreading the support evenly, the funds are meant to provide a larger benefit for those in the greatest need.
To qualify for this support you must meet the majority of the criteria below:
- Have a COVID-19 positive loved one
- Be an Elder
- Have a medical condition
- Do not have access to transportation
- Have children
- Be considered low-income (e.g. Under $40,000)
- Do not have a home
- Have lost your employment due to the Pandemic
- Have been significantly impacted by COVID-19
- Have not yet received support as a result of COVID-19
