It is with deep heartfelt sadness that we extend our thoughts and prayers to the families and loved ones affected by the tragic collision on Highway 6, south of the Easterville junction, near Gypsumville over the long weekend. Our hearts ache as we mourn the loss of Marybelle Yetman, a cherished member of the Nisichawayasihk Cree Nation community. Marybelle’s beautiful bright spirit will be remembered by all who knew her.
Marybelle’s large, close-knit, loving family fondly remembers her as “the baby” and the “apple of her father’s eye,” she was a true “daddy’s girl.” Marybelle was a wonderful mother of two beautiful twin girls and a handsome son. She was a caring and special daughter, sibling, friend, and relative, as well as a devoted partner to
Devon Hart.
In addition to this profound loss, we also send well wishes for a full recovery to the young male passenger who was airlifted to Winnipeg and has since been released, and the female passenger who is currently in surgery with extensive injuries. We send special prayers and well wishes to all those impacted, hoping for a swift and full recovery for those injured.
Our hearts beat together as one as we stand united in memory of Marybelle. May her spirit continue to shine brightly in the hearts and memories of all who loved her.
