March 2025
It is with deep heartfelt sadness that we extend our thoughts and prayers to the families and loved ones affected by the passing of Wilma McDonald, who left us on March 25, 2025. Wilma was an amazing colleague and friend to all who worked with her at the NCN Government Office, and she was a beloved member of our NCN community.
Wilma poured her heart into everything she was a part of, always striving to bring people together. She was involved and community-driven, personally inviting and encouraging others to attend events and ensuring no one was ever left out. She loved to share stories of her time working in NCN and taking time to listen and gather knowledge from everyone she met. Wilma was always eager to learn and share.
Wilma’s was always open, honest and welcoming with others, and it was the way she lived her life. Whether it was help with a project or simply someone to listen, Wilma was always there. With her wealth of experience and a heart full of wisdom, she guided others with honesty, sincerity, and kindness. She spoke the truth with care and compassion, always leading with love. Above all, her deepest devotion was to her children and family. Her unwavering support and belief in caring for others shaped everything she did and left a lasting imprint on the lives of those around her.
Wilma’s warm smile, and her steady support will be deeply missed. Her legacy of kindness, wisdom, and dedication will live on in the hearts of all who had the privilege of knowing her. May her spirit continue to shine brightly in the hearts and memories of all who loved her.
A service to honour her life will be announced at a later date.
Rest in love and peace, Wilma. Your kindness, charm and spirit will never be forgotten.
