Manitoba Widfire Services has informed that Fire NO-144 west of NCN access road is under control, no concerns to NCN’s road. Fires NO-50 and NO-062 could not be assessed by helicopter yesterday due to smoke; currently, smoke continues to ground aircraft. PR391 is open up to NCN, but is closed to the west due to Fire 141 encroaching close to PR391.
Weather forecast for today, winds from the SSW @ 5-8 km/h, gusting to 25 km/h by midday. There is rain in the forecast for tomorrow.
