Bringing the Spirit of the Season to Our Members Across Manitoba
Every December, our community shines a little brighter. The holidays remind us We are Nisichawayasihk Cree Nation, a nation who come together, share meals, reconnect with loved ones, and strengthen the bonds that make our Nation strong. This year, Chief and Council are hosting three special Christmas Meet and Greet events to ensure NCN Members near and far have a chance to gather, celebrate, and feel at home.
Each event will offer a warm meal, door prizes, friendly conversation, and the chance to visit directly with Chief and Council. Transportation will also be provided to make it easier for everyone to attend. All gatherings are free for NCN Members plus one guest, with additional non-NCN guests welcome for $10 each.
Winnipeg Christmas Meet and Greet

The first stop brings the spirit of NCN to Winnipeg. Many of our members call the city home, and this gathering is a chance to reconnect with familiar faces and share a meal with leadership. Whether you’re studying, working, or living in Winnipeg, this evening is designed to bring a little piece of NCN to you.
NCN On-Reserve Christmas Meet and Greet

Location: Norman Linklater Memorial Multiplex
Back home in NCN, the final gathering brings the community together under one roof. This evening will be filled with familiar voices, shared stories, and the comfort of gathering with family, friends, and neighbours. It’s the heart of the holiday season in our community.
Thompson Christmas Meet and Greet

Thompson has always been a hub for NCN families, and this event welcomes everyone for a warm and welcoming night of celebration. With dinner, door prizes, and transportation available, it’s an easy and meaningful way to gather before the holiday season begins.

Whether you attend in Winnipeg, Thompson, or here at home in NCN, each evening is an opportunity to reconnect, celebrate, and welcome the holiday season together.
