On May 2, 2025, over 200 youth and their families gathered at the Norman Linklater Memorial Multiplex for a day filled with laughter, delicious food, and community spirit. The event, featuring hot dogs, smokies, and hamburgers, was a huge success thanks to the generous support of the Multiplex staff and the amazing team from OK School.
As the children sat down to enjoy their meals, the staff from OK School supervised, ensuring that everyone could eat and play together in a safe, fun environment. The Multiplex echoed with the sound of laughter as kids ran around, sharing stories and making new memories. One child even shouted out, “I love hot dogs!” Another expressed their gratitude to one of the Multiplex staff, saying, “I love you because you always have hot dog day!” The staff member replied, “Bringing a smile to your face is why we do these things. Everything we do here is for you, the youth of NCN.”
As the last hot dog, smokie, and burger were enjoyed, the OK School staff began to clean up, wrapping up a truly memorable day that united the community in celebration and joy.
