Congratulations to Haley Braun on helping her team win the U18 “AAA” Manitoba Female Hockey League Championship.
Haley scored the only goals in the final two 1-0 victories including the OT winner of the final game to clinch the Championship for the Winnipeg Ice. The team had a dominant Playoff run winning every game and sweeping all three series 3-0 on the way to the Championship.
Haley was also named Top Scorer and Top Forward in the League for the regular season with 27 goals and 22 assists in 28 games played.

The Ice will now go on to meet the Saskatchewan champion — the winner of a final between the Saskatoon Stars and Regina Avana Rebels — in a best-of-three inter-provincial final next month.
The winner of the Manitoba-Saskatchewan series will advance to the Esso Cup national women’s U18 championship to be played in Prince Albert, Sask., April 23-29.
