We still have 194 active cases in the community and 66 households in isolation. Our public health team is exhausted so we need everyone to do their part so this current outbreak can be brought under control. We are all fed up with restrictions but we have many vulnerable people in our community – children, Elders and those with health conditions. We are trying our best to ensure everyone has food and other essential supplies. The lockdown will be lifted for two days from Friday, January 21st at 6:01 pm to Sunday, January 23rd at 6:00 pm. The curfew will continue to be 9:00 pm till 7:00 am. During this time 2 vaccinated people per household can go to Thompson to shop on either Saturday or Sunday. People can also apply to go to their camps with their own household only. We also encourage people to get outside for fresh air – go ice fishing, walking, snowmobiling, tobogganing. Just remember no visiting with anyone outside your household and that everyone who is in isolation must not leave their house. The lockdown will go back into effect at 9:00 pm on Sunday. Please review Bulletin #83 and Bulletin #84 for the details. Enjoy your weekend. Stay safe within your own household.
