It is with deep sorrow and profound respect to friends and families that we join in mourning the loss of Phyllis Hart with Council, staff, management and the Citizens of NCN. Her passing leaves a void in our community that will be felt by all who knew her.
Phyllis Hart was not just a teacher; she was a beacon of knowledge, a source of inspiration, and a guiding light for her students and colleagues alike. For 43 years, Phyllis was devoted to teaching, imparting not only academic lessons but also life’s most important values. Her commitment to her students was profound and she nurtured and mentored countless young minds, helping them to grow and achieve their full potential.
Phyllis’ impact and involvement was far reaching in our community. She had an unwavering dedication to our Nation and members. Her active involvement in church and local groups, and her compassionate service as a friend, wife, mother, and grandmother, demonstrated the depth of her character. She embodied the values of kindness, generosity, and leadership, and her contributions to the Nisichawayasihk Cree Nation will be remembered with great appreciation.
As we reflect on Phyllis Hart’s extraordinary life, we celebrate her with gratitude. Her warmth, wisdom, and tireless efforts have left a mark on our hearts and our community.
In this time of loss, we extend our deepest condolences to her family and all who cherished her. May Phyllis’ memory continue to inspire and guide us. Her spirit will forever be a part of the lives she touched and the community she served with such dedication. Rest in peace, Phyllis Hart. Your legacy will endure, and your contributions will not be forgotten.
