Important Message to Parents/Guardians & NNCEA Staff from NNCEA Director of Education, Sunday, Jan. 9th, 2022

    1. Due to dangerously high covid rates and transmission at NCN, a lockdown will be in effect as of 9 p.m. tonight!
    2. Chief and Council sent out Bulletin # 80 on Jan. 7th, 2022 telling everyone this would occur so you could prepare.
    3. All NNCEA staff (except our essential workers) are to stay home from Jan. 10-14th & work from home.
    4. Teachers will prepare at home for online learning on January 10 and January 11, 2022. If assistance to do this is required, they may contact Pierre or Nic.
    5. For further work instructions while at home, your immediate supervisor can be contacted.
    6. In the meantime, Parents/guardians are heavily encouraged to take their child(ren) to the FCWC or vaccine clinics for a needle please.
    7. Vaccination rates are dangerously low for 5-11 & 12-17 year olds! Getting a needle for your child(ren) will prevent needless spread of the virus & suffering!
    8. Schools are closed for Jan. 10-14th, 2022. On-line learning will be provided from January 12-14th, 2022 and probably thereafter.  If this changes, the community will be informed.
    9. Kinanskomitan, for your understanding & cooperation.
