The Nisichawayasihk Cree Nation (NCN) is excited to announce a raffle for a fully furnished Bison Modular Home. This three-bedroom, two-bathroom unit, located in the new development by the high school, features an attached direct water line and is connected to electricity. Terms and Conditions for House Raffle 

Introduction 

The Nisichawayasihk Cree Nation (NCN) is pleased to announce the raffle of a fully furnished Bison Modular Home. This three-bedroom, two-bathroom unit comes with an attached direct line water and is connected to electricity. 

Rules 

  1. All participants must be or older than 18 years old and an NCN band member. 
  1. The house being raffled must remain in the NCN community on 40 Moody Drive. 
  1. Off-reserve NCN members may participate if they adhere to the above rules. 
  1. There may be a limit on the number of tickets one person can purchase. This will be determined and communicated by the raffle organizers. 
  1. Tickets can be purchased at the Trust Office with Maria Donkey, Monday to Friday, with hours of 9:00am to 4:00pm. 
  1. Winner of the “Home Sweet Home Raffle” will be notified by phone or email and must be claimed within 30 days or will may be subjected to forfeit of ticket. 
  1. Winner will be expected to follow all NCN Laws and Regulations and may be subject to lot fees by the NCN Lands, Environment, & Resources Department.  
  1. Winner will have the option to insure the home through Gallagher Insurance. 
  1. If you are already living in a home that is a CMHC home or a home owned by the Nation and you win the raffle home, what are your options? 
  1. You can donate/gift the new home to a relative that is an NCN member. 
  1. Or you can sell the home to an NCN member.

Disclaimers 

  1. Once the house is won and water and electricity are installed, the Nation will no longer be responsible for any home renovations or maintenance. The new homeowner will be responsible for all repairs at their own expense. 
  1. The raffle will be conducted in accordance with applicable NCN Gaming regulations.
