Southern Alberta Jubilee Auditorium has an arts education program called Jube School and this summer they are hosting their summer camp online.

They are offering free registration to Indigenous families, individuals, and organizations across the country.

The classes run from July 12-23.

  • Beat Drop (3 Day Workshop learning the creation of digital pop music)
  • Spoken Word Poetry w/ Zoey Roy (1 Day workshop)
  • Auditioning for Film w/ Chantelle Han (1 Day workshop)
  • Light Sabre Training w/ The FloWarrior (1 Day workshop learning Light Sabre Combat!)
  • Magic w/ Sheldon Casavant: (1 day workshop learning magic tricks from supplies you have at home)
  • Ballet Basics w/ Alberta Ballet (1 day workshop)
  • Stage Combat w/ Haysam Kadri (1 day workshop working with professional fight director to learn the basics of stage combat)
  • A Morning of Broadway w/ Broadway Across Canada (1 day workshop working with an actor from Broadway to learn a song & choreography)
  • West African Dance w/ Sangea Academy (1 day workshop)
  • Filipino Dance w/ Cynthia Jimenez-Hicks (1 day workshop)
  • Stand-up Comedy for Families w/ Cory Mack (1 Day workshop w/ a stand-up comedian, for the whole family!)
  • Voice Over w/ Cherie McMaster (1 Day workshop, learning the basics of voice acting)
  • Playwriting w/ Josh Languedoc (1 day workshop)
  • Creative Cupcakes w/ Cheryl Hutton (1 day workshop, creating hamburger shaped cupcakes Requires baking supplies​​)
