On Monday, September 30, 2024, please join us at the Norman Linklater Multiplex at 1 pm to honour the Indigenous children who were sent to residential schools, those who survived, and those who never returned home. Orange Shirt Day is a powerful reminder of the injustices endured by our relatives and other Indigenous people and the ongoing journey of reconciliation.
It is a day to reflect on the past, acknowledge the lasting impacts of the residential school system, and commit to ensuring that every child is cherished, valued, and allowed to thrive.
