The Nisichawayasihk Cree Nation (NCN) is excited to welcome CommUNITY204 for a two-day event focused on supporting and empowering our youth from March 31 to April 1, 2025, this initiative aims to provide mentorship, guidance, and meaningful activities to the NCN youth while addressing key challenges they face today.

Building Confidence and Resilience

CommUNITY204 fosters positive self-image, mental well-being, and healthy relationships. Their goal for NCN is to create a safe space where youth can openly discuss their struggles and receive the support they need. The program will focus on critical issues such as:

  • Self-image and self-worth
  • Suicidal ideation
  • Substance abuse
  • Building healthy relationships
  • Coping with everyday challenges

Through mentorship, interactive activities, and open discussions, CommUNITY204 will equip our NCN youth with the tools to navigate challenges and develop a strong sense of self-worth.

A Safe and Inclusive Space for All Youth

This initiative is inclusive to all NCN youth, ensuring our NCN Youth, regardless of their background or circumstances, have access to meaningful support. The program will emphasize the importance of peer connection and community support, helping youth see they are not alone in their struggles.
