Clear the Snow from Around Your House

(and be sure to drain water away from your foundation)

The NCN Housing Authority reminds residents in Nisichawayasihk Cree Nation to remove snow around the foundation of your house and to ensure melting snow run-off drains away from the basements and crawl-spaces. The large amount of snow and resulting water this year can cause basement flooding, extreme water damage and costly repairs. The effects can also cause health concerns due to mould inside the home.
