From July 29 to August 2, 2024, Terry Linklater held “Grand Parents Appreciation Week” at Mile 33. The week featured activities like singing and dancing contests, bingo, and games, inviting all elders to join in. Seeing our elders laughing, smiling, and enjoying each other’s company was a delight. The joy and togetherness among them were a beautiful sight.

Terry Linklater recently hosted a magical week-long camp for our beloved elders, and it was nothing short of extraordinary. With the van brimming with wisdom, stories, and laughter, Terry transported our elders to a Mile 33 camp filled with joy and excitement.

The elders were treated to a well-deserved week of fun activities, including dancing, bingo, open mic sessions with a live band, and much more. The camp was alive with laughter, jokes, and the cheerful spirit of the community. Everyone was encouraged to join in, and seeing our knowledge keeper’s shine was heartwarming.

Their dance moves, especially during the twist, were spectacular. Their singing was a beautiful reminder of their vibrant spirits. Joe Francois stole the show on the dance floor, dancing the night away with endless energy and joy. The entire event was a testament to our love and respect for our elders, and it brought immense happiness to all who participated.

Thank you Terry Linklater for hosting such a fun event.
