URGENT -All Units Public Health Toxic Drug Alert

On Monday September 23, 2024 several people were admitted to the Thompson Hospital after experiencing side effects from taking a substance sold as crack cocaine.

• Dark brown with a crystal shine and a really bad bitter taste.
• Six people in the ER with extreme dizziness and blackout after first hit.
• Some patients are in restraints due to the confusion they are experiencing.

Please take caution:

• Use with a friend & stagger your use
• Start low and go slow
• Carry & know how to use naloxone/Narcan
