The CAP/CIP presentations for 2026 are now done, and what a day it was for our Nation!

All our managers and directors who sent in proposals came together to share their ideas. They talked about the programs they want to build, the projects they hope to start, and the ways they want to make NCN stronger for everyone.

The CAP/CIP Committee

Councillor Ron Spence, Councillor Kim Linklater, Yvonne Hart, Kelly Spence, Angie Spence, Carol Prince, and Laura Hart—sat together and listened closely. They asked good questions, always thinking about our community and what will help our people the most.

As each director and manager spoke, you could feel the pride and vision they had for NCN. You could hear how much hard work goes into every program. You could see how much they care about helping our families, our youth, and our Elders. Every idea they shared was connected to making life better here at home in NCN.

For many of us listening in on their presentations, it felt like an honour to sit there and hear all the exciting things that might happen in NCN. New programs, new opportunities, and new ways to support our Nation were all shared with hope and heart.

We wish all the presenters good luck. We hope they receive everything they asked for, because every plan they brought forward is meant to help our Nation grow.

Good things are coming to NCN, one idea at a time.
