On Thursday, October 30, 2025, the halls of NNOC were filled with excitement as representatives from the University of Manitoba, Red River College, Assiniboine College, and the University College of the North visited our community. Their presence brought valuable information and encouragement for our youth and community members who dream of continuing their education.
Each representative spoke passionately about their institutions, sharing pathways that could lead our NCN members into fulfilling careers. From health sciences and trades to business, education, and technology, they opened the door to endless possibilities. The Representatives answered every question with patience and kindness, ensuring that everyone understood the opportunities and support available.
For many NNOC students, this event was more than just an information session; it served as a reminder that higher education is within reach and that our young people possess the strength, intelligence, and determination to succeed in post-secondary education. These institutions showed genuine care for our Nation, offering guidance that they will walk alongside our students every step of the way.
