NCN Flames Go Undefeated at Oskana Cup

Four young NCN Citizens played incredible hockey a few weeks ago to help their team emerge undefeated at the Oskana Cup in Regina, SK on May 4–7, 2017.

Kurtia Yetman, Haley Jo Braun, Jorden Braun and Ryder Wastesicoot represented the NCN Flames in the Atom division (born in 2006/2007), and played with other locals including Rydell Monias, Daylin Monias, Tristyn M’Lot and Issac Catcheway-McLeod of Thompson and Carson Clemons and Jake Gislason from The Pas. They competed with 15 other teams in a double knockout tournament from May 4–7 to be named Aboriginal Youth Hockey champions of Western Canada. Read the Newsletter for the complete story.
