Wuskwatim Training and Jobs

To get a job on the Wuskwatim project, NCN Members must be registered with ATEC, whether or not you take part in a training program. Qualified NCN Members will be given preference for jobs on Wuskwatim as part of the Burntwood Nelson Agreement (BNA).

The BNA is the collective bargaining agreement between the Hydro Projects Management Association (representatives for Hydro), and The Allied Hydro Council of Manitoba (representatives for all participating unions to the agreement). The agreement also contains special employment and training measures for northern Aboriginals and enables northern Aboriginal businesses awarded non-tendered contracts to forego usual hiring practices, if hiring northern Aboriginals.

If you are interested in working on the Wuskwatim project, please register.

It is easy to do. Download a PDF (428KB) of the ATEC brochure to assist you with registration.
