NCN Achimowin Communications, operating as NCN CREE FM 98.1 in Nelson House, Manitoba is a community-owned radio station serving the 2,400 citizens of  the Nisichawayasihk Cree Nation living in Nelson House and through the interenet to another nearly 3000 NCN citiizens.

Our broadcast studio and 500-watt transmitter is located at 9 Bayrod Drive in the heart of Nelson House. The station has a broadcast radius of about 90 kilometres or 50 miles.

Our commitment is to keep NCN members informed and up to date on local news, events and issues, and to deliver a range of music programming to meet the broad entertainment interests of our listeners.

We are a multi-format radio station playing everything from Country to Rock, R & B to Dance to Hip Hop. We play the hits from every era that have had an impact on the global music scene. At NCN CREE FM 98.1 we believe in satisfying all age groups every hour with a mix of music that will keep listeners tuned in every day.

We broadcast live from 9:00 a.m. to midnight Monday through Friday, and with our automated music scheduling system, we offer continuous programming 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
