 The Nelson House Fisherman's Association (NHFA) operates a commercial harvest over three seasons.
Production varies from lake to lake and species to species. The main species are Walleye (Pickerel), Whitefish and Northern Pike.
The main factors affecting production include high amounts of mercury levels and debris found on the Churchill River Diversion, and the high cost of transportation to and from inland lakes. |
